As you've probably discovered, copywriters in the UK fall into two different camps. Some just want to write copy to order (and good luck to them), while others get their fingers dirty - making sure the job is on the right track from the start.
If you're thinking of working with me, you should know I fall into the second camp. Before I'll put pen to paper, I'll be quizzing you over business goals, getting to grips with your customers' motives and asking if there are better ways to reach your target market.
That's not because I'm yearning for my old days in Corporate Marketing... and not because I want to hijack your marketing department!
It's because Copywriting is Marketing, and it's part of my job to make sure your creative pieces are a full-on strategic fit.
