Ah but yes, they do! Wouldn't you, if you were about to award a
whacking great contract?
You know you would:)
Case Studies work - as long as they're used in the right way, at
the right time. They won't spark initial interest - leave that
to a sales letter or web page - but once you've begun the
conversation, a case study is a great tool for proving
your credentials...and answering all those niggly questions at the
back of the customer's mind:
How do you work...what results do you get...how do you handle
curve balls...will it be worth the investment...what do your
clients think?
Of course, you could address all that in a stiff and factual document. But Case Studies work because they tell a story.
And even top execs still enjoy stories!!
Granted, if you've streamlined a process or filled a sales funnel, it might not be "Gone with the Wind"...but there's definitely a tale of sorts behind every job you've done.
Writing your Case Study
With a fair wind, I can produce your next case study in just
a few weeks - sometimes less. I'll research the project, getting
the lowdown from everyone involved, then write up a full account
that speaks directly to your client base.
When that's done, I can hand you the copy or bring in other
specialists to look at layout or print, or
translation...
That's all part of the job!
